How to combine the transition to a low-carbon society with the principles of ecological justice? JUSTNature explores the potential of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in different urban environments, with an eye on socio-economical inequalities.
Prospex Institute´s role
Prospex Institute analyses and defines what urgent needs are addressed by the NbS in each of the seven different European city practice labs (CiPels). By making sure that the various stakeholder coalitions are identified and engaged, PI leads the CiPels' co-design process and strategy, with consideration for the local existing resources and problems. Collaboratively facilitating this process aims at bringing the power structures to the surface, supporting the configuration of countervailing measures.
